FIXMYSTREET IN OX13 5PP
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of OX13 5PP:
ENQ24998546 FixMyStreet ref: 5761136 not fixed, 16th May
Problem as above not fixed but reported as fixed but has not been well repaired at all.
See pictures, best I could take on a busy junction.
Lots of holes and very rough surface remain. Looks like the bare minimum has been done and the result is awful and looks like it won’t last as it’s already coming apart.
I trust the contractor involved will cover the cost of the failure under warranty. Please can that be confirmed on here. I certainly hope there will not be a cost to the taxpayer in putting the botched repair right.

Worn out markings, 7th May
I have already raised this yet you closed it stating it was planned in the coming financial year but with no date, in which case it isn't closed as its not completed and still remains a hazard. Closing it because you have a metric that makes you look better by closing does not make the problem go away !!
This area has both yellow 'zig-zag' markings and single white line exclusion areas specifically to prevent dangerous parking predominantly during school drop off/ pick up times. These lines are now almost completely eroded and people are making poor and hazardous parking choices, which is a danger to not only the children getting to school but other motorists , cyclists and pedestrians. Please remark these areas

Half a job., 6th May
One of the several potholes in the road outside the Pub has been fixed, but the patch is already collapsing, so it needs doing properly. The other nearby potholes have been ignored. I'll concede that the road through Hatford near Stanford in the Vale is a B road but why has it been almost completely resurfaced recently when it wasn't in too bad a condition, but the roads around Appleton are in a terrible state and probably have as much traffic.

Lots of 10-15 ft potholes on A338 near Pine Tops, 16th April
The potholes have been getting longer and deeper for many months with the rain. Previous potholes have been filled over the last 3 years but more just appear next to them and are growing at a rapid rate. The holes are over a foot wide so big enough to get tyres from lorries and buses in and it’s is a 50mph road with no street light so at night holes are not visible.

Potholes/craters on Oaksmere just after the bridge leaving Appleton drigeshown as filled this morning. Appalling job, 8th April
Potholes on this section of Oaksmere were reported as long ago as 6th February. Water has continued to run along the road making the potholes into craters pushing vehicles into the middle of the road and on coming traffic on a blind bend. Today 8th April I received notification the potholes have been filled. Please see attached the "quality" of said works. One of the original three potholes hasn't been filled. Rather tarmac thrown into a damaged road edge on the opposite side of the carriageway. Is this really what we for pay towards the highways? Details of the repair have been raised with our County Councillor Juliette Ash, District Councillor Mark Coleman and the Parish Council.
