Dangerous parking obscuring view from junction exit, 20th April
This truck or a similar one from the same organisation had been parked here every evening and weekend for at least the last week. The van is parked by a local resident outside of working hours and is not being used in conjunction with any work taking place.
The vehicle is parked on the pavement side of double yellow lines between the junction of Selkirk Road and Whitegate Lane, and the roundabout joining Thompson lane, Eaves lane and Whitegate lane.
The junction of Selkirk Road and Whitegate lane is difficult at the best of times as cars coming down Thompson lane at speed (and often not indicating) make it dangerous, however, with repeated parking such as this on the pavement as shown it completely blocks the view of cars coming down Thompson lane, making it extremely difficult and dangerous to pull out from the junction.

Road needs repairing / widening where it has collapsed into the stream AND single lane road sign & heavy duty bollards & curb stones needed to stop cars and huge trucks pulling too far over and falling into the stream which leads to the River Irk. The 3rd vehicle a huge heavy duty skip truck fell in last night when going up the lane and a car was coming down the lane (there is only room from 1 car) Consequently a skip of soil is now in the stream and all over the road where the skip has been dragged off the tow truck.
