Dangerous parking obscuring view from junction exit, 20th April
This truck or a similar one from the same organisation had been parked here every evening and weekend for at least the last week. The van is parked by a local resident outside of working hours and is not being used in conjunction with any work taking place.
The vehicle is parked on the pavement side of double yellow lines between the junction of Selkirk Road and Whitegate Lane, and the roundabout joining Thompson lane, Eaves lane and Whitegate lane.
The junction of Selkirk Road and Whitegate lane is difficult at the best of times as cars coming down Thompson lane at speed (and often not indicating) make it dangerous, however, with repeated parking such as this on the pavement as shown it completely blocks the view of cars coming down Thompson lane, making it extremely difficult and dangerous to pull out from the junction.

No Road Markings following Resurface, 6th March
The junction of Middleton road and Broadway in Chadderton has recently had work done but no road markings have returned. The new road alignment seems to make it harder for drivers unsure of the junction to keep to the right. This makes it unsafe I feel and can also restrict the number of vehicles making a right turn on a green light.
Therefore new road markings would be expected on a new junction. Would you agree?
