Most of the road is covered in potholes and loose gravel where after roadworks the authority has attempted to repair the road but it has been left worse than before pot holes loose chippings etc ., 17th April
The whole road needs resurfacing in a professional manner. The pot holes are everywhere. Last week whilst cycling along here the uneven surface caused me to fall from my bike injuring my hand as I fell.

Pot holes getting worse, 16th December
This is a single track lane so these potholes are unavoidable for passing cars and householders are parked at the side. My windscreen had a crack which I had to replace and I think it was from a passing motorist because my car is parked here.

Overgrown and dangerous Footpath/steps from Buckley street down to the side of Warburton court and high street, 26th July
These steps are used by hundreds of residents down to the village. Many very elderly residents from Warburton Court like to use this path, including my 92yr old mother. It is totally unacceptable to expect people to use this safely. Brambles are overgrown and blocking pedestrians from holding the rail and weeds are overgrown over the steps.

Grids/Gullys, 20th June
All grid/gullys between Toll House (62) and the Royal George Manchester Rd Greenfield are blocked o=and or Stinking foul. (Gas board emergency and Fire brigade called out on 17th June) Several YEARS ago they were diagnosed by the council engineer (after jetting and camera search at the time that the one outside 62 was not actually connected to the new sewer pipe (broke) and another was covered over with Tarmac during the sewer pipe renewal works. The council Highway/ grid dep have been informed many, many times over the years and have done nothing to remedy the problems which is a great health and safety issue to my wife and I who are both elderly vulnerable people

Road grid/drainage blocked, 25th January
Bottom of Springmeadow Lane (OL3 6HH) has a blocked drain/grid. It’s ‘unblocked’ from time to time, but the real problem is the design into main sewage system which blocks and causes a back up of water which overflows out of the blocked drain with what appears to be and smells like grey water from one or more of the houses. It’s foul! This needs further investigation as regularly smells like sewage and milky in colour. In it’s current state it’s an environmental hazard as during winter months freezes and if tested/analysed I’m sure would find traces of sewage which is pouring onto the road and pavement.
