This event occurred following the removal of trees on the river banks which has caused severe lack of privacy for some residents of Cobblestones and maybe emboldened someone to fling the bin into the river from the bridge. I noticed the bin in the river some days ago and have been trying to speak to someone about this for a few days to no avail.

It is totally unacceptable to expect people to use this safely. Brambles are overgrown and blocking pedestrians from holding the rail and weeds are overgrown over the steps.
