Grass verge at side covered with rubbish / litter, 25th March
Approaching the roundabout after coming off at junction 35, to see the grass verge to the right absolutely covered in rubbish / litter- beer cans, plastic. Horrible sight. Needs attending to asap.

Gantry over lane, 23rd January
No speed restriction symbols on gantry but cameras still flashing, and flashing very randomly this morning east bound and late morning west bound this was very dangerous due to the weather conditions late morning both distracting and not slowing traffic in torrential rain

Multiple lights not working, 24th October
J21 to J22. From milnrow juction to rakewood viaduct 100% of the lamp columns don’t work EB and WB and I think it would help road users see better especially in low visibility conditions. And about 50% of lamp columns after the viaduct to J22 don’t work going EB and WB.

Flytipping of building waste, 31st January
Last week someone dumped plasterboards on the moorland and this has since been added to by someone who has dumped old oil drum and contents of their garage?? Please can this be removed asap before it enters the river systems. There is also a large amount of mud on the road approaching this site - even though council cleared it just last week. Is someone tipping?

Excessive amounts of mud on road from side road excavations, 30th January
Driving down the A640 towards Milnrow on the right hand side of the road there is heavy amounts of mud being tracked off the side road that leads down the the fishing ponds below. heavy machinery is removing loads away from the site and as a result there is a deep coating of mud on the road which is very slippy as the road has very sharp bends in that area. The bad condition of the road continues for around 1/2 mile before it clears a bit. Very dangerous driving conditions.
