Dumped wood, 20th August
As previously reported on 31 July, two separate dumps of planks or boards (possibly from old fence or shed) were dumped on Blackstone Edge Old Road. One (nearest to Stormer Hill) has been removed, but the other is still there.

Dumped wood, 31st July
Approaching Blackstone Edge Old Road from Halifax Road at Stormer Hill, on the right hand side, there are pieces of scrap wood, possibly from a broken fence or shed, some with nails protruding. Further down on the same side, past where the road starts to bend to the right, there is another very similar collection.

Several bags of what looks like household rubbish dumped in the drainage channel on the left hand side of Blackstone Edge Old Road, as you approach Halifax Road. Difficult to pinpoint exactly, as no landmarks.

Abandoned vehicle, 25th April
A white van has been parked here for several weeks. It is a Peugeot Boxer, reg no SB07 YXG. The strange thing about this vehicle is that the reg no (which shows as taxed and MoT'd) refers to a silver Landrover, not a Peugeot van.

Dumped Rubbish, 25th March
At least 17 black bin bags have been dumped in the ditch at the side of Blackstone Edge Old Road. They are on the left hand side of the road as you turn down it from the A58 at Stormer Hill. It is difficult to mark exactly where they are on the map due to a lack of landmarks on that section, but they are not easily missed. They look like they have been recently dumped, in the last day or two.

Dead animal, 7th March
There is a dead animal in the drainage ditch on the left of Blackstone Edge Old Road as you approach the A58 at Stormer Hill. It is (I think - didn't want too look too closely) a large black and tan, very furry cat, I couldn't see its head. Could have been hit by a car and either crept away to die or been thrown into the ditch. Difficult to pinpoint on the map as there are no landmarks, and it's only visible by walking and peering down into the ditch. This is someone's beloved pet, and they deserve to know what has happened to it.

Too many bins that don’t belong to us, 18th February
We have lots of bins in an outdoor shared area that don’t seem to belong to anyone. (Or, the houses that they do belong to don’t take any responsibility for them.) I think they have come from other smaller nearby streets but I am not sure. We have been acquiring bins in the shared area for over a year. There is plenty of space for them but unfortunately a neighbourhood cat fouls on the gravel so if you do drag the bins on and off there then you end up stepping in cat mess. I would like bins that don’t belong to the relevant houses to be removed.
