My car is 16 months old and I have had to replace 2 tyres and suspension issues this winter!! This needs fixing asap or I will be sending my repair bills to Calderdale county council

Numerous potholes have been missed by the contractors, 25th May
After your contracter visited the lane several weeks ago they left without filling about 20 deep holes can I suggest you attend this place and carry out the job ASAP to avoid any claims for damages to my car

Restricted pavement used by primary school children, 17th July
The footpath is very overgrown especially with nettles. This piece of pavement is directly between my house and Sharneyford primary and my 10 year old walks daily. The nettles force him to walk along the very edge, on the kerb, and traffic can be heavy and travelling faster than the 30 mph speed limit. It is very dangerous. I have reported it before and the area was strimmed but obviously has grown back. The wall is in need of repair as the boundary to the pavement which would provide a more permanent solution. Large pot hole that damaged my cars suspention, 7th February
The road has been poorly reinstated by the contractors who laid the cables from the windfarm the trench as you know is subsiding as I have reported this problem last year to my MP Mr J Berry who wrote to me saying that he had taken it up with Calderdale council. I use the road daily and the pothole was the straw that broke the camel's back now i have a repair bill of £570 which will be passed on to the council for compensation for repairs to my car

The road surface all along Bacup Road is a disgrace. It needs sorting IMMEDIATELY., 5th June
The problem has been getting worse over the last 5 years. Bacup Road I presume is between two councils but one needs to take responsibility. It needs resurfacing ASAP.

Poor Road Surface due to Cable Laying, 30th December
This road surface here and all the way down to Gauxholme is appalling! This is the second time I have reported this. It has already been repaired once (very poorly) following my last report! This whole road need surveying urgently following the submerging of the new wind farm cables. Subsidence is increasing daily and especially now the wet weather is upon use.

Damaged road surface, 22nd February
From the marked point, for the next mile and a half downhill towards Todmorden, there are at least four places where the road is liable to flooding. This combines with the cold overnight temperatures to produce ice rink like conditions. This is exacerbated by dismal road repairs recently. On top of this is general debris left behind both by the flooding and recent gritting activity. All this is bad enough in a car, but on a bike it is utterly lethal.
