Area needs cleaning and signs added to prevent flytipping, 13th April
Been like this for many months. One bin bag is seemingly added every couple months. Would be good if community payback removed the excess soil around the square soil patch and worked the soil. Some local engagement could encourage some gardening and maintenance.

Unlicensed Public Urinal Yorkshire Street entrance to Bull Brow Ginnell, 12th April
Unlicensed Public Urinal Yorkshire Street entrance to Bull Brow Ginnell. The entrance to this alleyway absolutely stinks of urine .Its degenerating into a public health hazard and open sewer.
It is in urgent need of a thorough hose down with industrial quantities of bleach by highway cleaning services !
It also has an abandoned chair thrown behind the installation art installed at the entrance to the alleyway .Not a good look after the £250 MILLION town centre regeneration programme !
Equally the alley stinks of skunk smoke for many parts of the day so some of the year on year increase in local Poll Tax for the Greater Manchester Police policing precept obviously need to be deployed with some actual POLICING so the alley does not become yet another un-policed town centre 'No Go Zone !'
We never see GMP in the area ( except when responding to a crime incident ) and the occasional Cops with Camera patrols are less than useless since they appear to have no interest whatsoever in doing meaningful patrols of the town centre back streets . The situation is becoming a local standing joke amongst the few shoppers who still continue to shop in Rochdale town centre

Horrible parking in Armstrong Hurst Close., 29th February
Dear Rochdale Council,
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention several pressing issues in our community, specifically at Armstrong Hurst Close. These concerns have been causing significant tensions among the residents and require prompt attention.
Parking Problems: There is an ongoing issue of inconsiderate parking, with untaxed and uninsured cars being left unattended for months. This has not only resulted in an unsightly environment but has also raised safety concerns within the community.
Obstructed Views: Overgrown trees are obstructing the views of several houses in the area. This not only affects the aesthetic appeal of the neighborhood but also diminishes the quality of life for residents.
Inconsiderate Parking Blocking Entrances: Residents are facing difficulties accessing their own properties due to inconsiderate parking, which is causing frustration and inconvenience.
Blocking Emergency Access: In emergency situations, the current parking situation poses a serious threat by potentially impeding access for emergency services. This is a critical concern that needs immediate attention to ensure the safety of the residents.
Neighbor Tensions: Tensions among neighbors have escalated, with reported incidents of threats and disputes. This situation is detrimental to the overall well-being of the community and requires intervention.
I kindly request that the Rochdale Council investigate these matters promptly and take appropriate measures to address the concerns raised. Your swift action will contribute to fostering a safer and more harmonious living environment for all residents of Armstrong Hurst Close.
Thank you for your attention to these urgent matters.
Sincerely,
A fed up resident of Armstrong Hurst Close.

Illegal parking outside school, 12th February
There is an ongoing problem with illegal parking on Samson Street outside Belfield Primary School. Cars park where there is a yellow line and a sign stating No Parking Between 8am and 5pm. Aside from this being illegal, it is also extremely dangerous for the children attending the school. It is a very small cul-de-sac and these cars cause a huge problem. However nothing is ever done to prevent this. The school constantly asks parents to stop parking there but this is not solving the issue. Something needs to be done before a child is seriously injured. Please can the council step in and help?
