Dead ducklings, 15th April
About 18 miles before the eastbound Birch services, some kind of official car (it had one of the stay behind me signs in the rear window) had slowed traffic down to a stop. When it started moving again, several ducklings were dead on the road, 4 were still alive, no mother duck anywhere to be seen. Why did the car drive off and leave the ducklings? This happened about 6.30pm 14 April 2024.

Large,deep pothole with drain cover in bend of road, 26th March
This pothole has been there for a long time and it is getting bigger and deeper. There is a drainage crate over it, but no drain pipe, just a pothole. It is in the bend of the road and whoever turns have to swerve into traffic on the opposite side of the road.
