One commode - what’s wrong with people! In the pull in just past the Pavillion drive way. Appeared last night. One large black cover in the pull in just before the Pavillion drive. Been there a while but can’t get this in a sack. I usually pick up discarded stuff but won’t get these in my car.

Obstructive and dangerous parking, 15th January
At the location shown there is a length of roadside footpath running westwards from Lyng bridges. This path forms part of the Wensum Way route. During the past Summer this was repeated blocked by cars being parked on it, forcing pedestrians onto the road. Lyng PC foresees this as an ongoing problem in the future and in the interest of resident's safety would like action to prevent this. The ideal would be a line of bollards in the verge but we would be open to other suggestions from yourselves.

Damaged bridge fencing, 15th January
Two lengths of the fencing at the side of the bridge over the Wensum at Lyng have been damaged by trees falling on them. Both are on the Northern side of the bridge (Nearside as one leaves Lyng). One in particular, at the Eastern (Sparham) end of the bridge poses a real risk of pedestrians falling into the water.
