I recently reported potholes and Road not maintained outside my home Sunways, Staithe Road, West Somerton, NR29 4AB. Work was carried out on Staithe Road but outside of the property remains untouched. It would seem that the people coming out to do the repairs think that the actual adopted highway finishes before the property but this is not the case and the entire frontage is on Staithe Road. Could you please send someone out to carry out this work., 7th June
Entire road is not being maintained properly outside Sunways.

Overgrown footpath, 13th July
The footpath that follows the river between Martham Pits and Staithe House Farm is completely overgrown causing a lady to loose her footing at the weekend and fell into a load of stinging nettles - luckily she wasn't badly injured. This is a popular path, especially in the summer but it is so overgrown now it is practically inaccesible

Over wide vegetation: Hemsby Road, Martham, #55 and #57., 12th December
Over wide vegetation on Hemsby Road Martham; Thorn/ivy/russian vine hedge at property #57 and leylandii at property #55 (clearly visible traffic shaping from vehicle mirrors). Consequently the opposite verge is well eroded exposing raised kerbs around telephone poles - dangerous in poor visibility, snow etc. A narrow stretch of road towards a bend is made unnecessarily dangerous by this encroaching growth. Easily seen on Google map; https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@52.703366,1.6479723,3a,37.5y,302.6h,87.46t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1slQcXfeTTLF57jYHnci867Q!2e0!7i16384!8i8192

Thorn type hedge reducing road width on an already narrow bend, 19th May
Thorn type hedge reducing road width on an already narrow bend at No. 57, Hemsby Road, Martham. Also some leylandii are right out to the verge at No. 55. Highways cut grass verges but this vegetation also needs a good flailing back. Look at the other side of the road here to see how traffic has to pull in to pass (esp. buses & LGV's)

Speeding motorist and dangerous bends in the roads, 22nd June
For a long time now motorist use hemsby road in martham like a racetrack,it is a 30mph speed limit but because it is not a built up area drivers exceed this limit all the time,on leaving our house(27) my children have to walk down the path were cars are hurtling past at high speed,on one occasion a bus was coming one way and mounted the kerb(whe my children were walking along it) as a tractor was travelling in the opposite direction,my children had to jump out of the way to avoid being killed!!! A few weeks a landrover took out 4 concrete posts and all our fence panels(still wating to be replaced)and ended up facing the opposite way in which he was travelling!!(and he wasnt speeding, yeah right),up until this year we have had police doing regular speed traps and in the 30 - 40 minutes they are there they ticket 3-4 people everytime, please could somebody look into this as myself and the other residents feel that this may lead to a death of one of our children....

Overgrown hedge, 8th September
The hedge that runs beside the footpath on the Hemsby Road in Martham is so overgrown, instead of there being a four foot path it is now only a foot wide in places. This makes it dangerous expecially when walking home in the dark as there are no street lights and often get wacked in the face from stray 6 ft long branches, and if it's rained or very dewy you end up wet through yet the time you get to the end. Who is responsible for cutting this hedge the parish or County council? I would appreciate it being cut before the really wet weather and dark nights set in.
