FIXMYSTREET IN NR29 3AG
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of NR29 3AG:
Floodlight level light, 12th April
After new installations of streetlights outside our house with no notifications we find at midnight we can now see individual blades of grass from 5m away. Surely the lights are not supposed to be so bright all the time? How are we supposed to sleep? I mean we can save money as we don't need to use our lights but this can not be acceptable? What are our rights given this was installed with a view to allowing school children to cross at a crossing and they aren't going to be using it at 10pm, 11pm, 1am and so on? This isn't green and negatively effects our lives.

The problem is exactly the same I’m not able to walk from my house and use the pavement due to the road being flooded. It’s very unsafe. I need to walk with the dogs on the other side of the road instead of the pavement because the cats are splashing the water up to three meters above the pavement and above., 4th January
The drain is blocked. I think it’s something to do with the farm as well. They cut the hedge and left lots of soil and hedge cuttings on the road and pall over the pavement,

Large flood on blind bend, 23rd December
Between Marsh Rd and Pound Lane on A1064 there is regularly a large flood covering nearly all of the side of the road approaching the village of Fleggburgh from Acle direction. The water is deep and causes traffic to go on wrong side of the road despite it being a blind bend. It's a 30mph zone but traffic regularly exceed this limit (Sam2 data)

Blocked drain, 15th December
There is a farm opposite to the Rye Gardens development. Outside of the brick wall that belongs to the farm there is a drain on the Main Rd. The drain has been blocked for a few months. When its raining the paddle covers the whole road and it's impossible to walk on the pavement because the cars splash the water when they drive through the paddle. We have to use the pavement to go to the village as the traffic is too busy to walk on the road. Could you please report the problem to a suitable department? Thank you

70cm pot hole, 50cm pothole and 30cm pot holes here. Very deep. Extremely dangerous., 14th March
There are three very large, very deep potholes here. Cars have no alternative but to drive on them when there is an oncoming vehicle. When it’s rained, the pot holes are filled making them look like they’re just puddles. They are very large and extremely dangerous to cars and pedestrians alike. They are on the pub side of the road as you turn up town road from the end with the Kings arms restaurant/public house. They are near the pub bins and near the street lamp (I believe). They are to the side of the road.

Car parking, 28th January
Hi, I'm not sure who I need to contact really. I live in fleggburgh down st Margarets way. We have got huge issues with parking. I can never park my car anywhere neither can my neighbours. They have had the police around today about where they park their car. It's ridiculous. I have nerve damage in my brain and down my left arm. I struggle to lift anything and I have two small children. It's very hard for me to manage my stuff when I have to park my car walk with my children and shopping etc when i can't park anywhere near my house. Could you please at least get someone to come and look at the situation we have as i know I'm not the only one on the street who has contacted you. Many thanks
