Lumps of concrete on bank, 26th March
One of the residents has decided it would be a good idea to put all this concrete on the bank, he did this last year & when it rained they fell in to the road & this is a big concern for drivers if they do not see them, some on the photos I took Sunday & drive past Monday 25th & some have already gone in to the road which is a narrow country lane, what if a motor bike or cyclist hits them ??? It’s so dangerous!

Incorrect signage (Bacton RB7a), 18th February
Byway incorrectly signposted as a footpath. Norfolk County Council, please remember your duty, under s.27(2)(b) of the Countryside Act 1968, to erect a signpost showing, so far as the highway authority consider convenient and appropriate, where the footpath or bridleway leads, and the distance to any place or places named on the signpost. Fallen branches and encroaching hedging., 24th January
Traveling west along Mill Road a short distance past the sawmill there is branch of a tree that has been lying over the carriageway on the sawmill side for some time and has resulted in vehicles having to avoid the obstacle to pass, this has led to larger vehicles running off the tarmac surface on to the verge risking losing traction on sinkage. Also, further along on the same side again going West, the hedging is encroaching very close to the roadway and is having similar impact on the safety of motorists, particularly as it is on a bend, the holly clearly needs attention before an accident occurs.

The byway has undergone recent winter cutting works, but the out-of-repair part, here, which actually needed cutting most of all - has been left untouched! The cutting machinery has swerved off to the east, even overspilling the eastern boundary of the highway.
