Fallen branches and encroaching hedging., 24th January
Traveling west along Mill Road a short distance past the sawmill there is branch of a tree that has been lying over the carriageway on the sawmill side for some time and has resulted in vehicles having to avoid the obstacle to pass, this has led to larger vehicles running off the tarmac surface on to the verge risking losing traction on sinkage. Also, further along on the same side again going West, the hedging is encroaching very close to the roadway and is having similar impact on the safety of motorists, particularly as it is on a bend, the holly clearly needs attention before an accident occurs.
