Rats on huge rotting seal, out of tidal reach, 12th February
Please pass this on to the agency in charge of the beach beyond the Banksie artwork on Cromer west beach. Guessing it's coastal watch.
I know dead seals don't get dealt with (let nature take it's course etc), however there is a huge carcass that is just put of the tide's reach. It's been there for weeks and now rats have been spotted. This needs removing.

Blocked drains, 22nd December
There are several blocked drains along Greens Lane and Top Common. There is a constant river of water running for several hundred yards. When a vehicle drives along the road water splashes onto the property at Manor Farm and is causing damage to the mortar. The wall is constantly wet and never dries out. This has been a problem for at least 3 years. It is now the worst it's ever been.

"Secret" public path unsigned (Cromer FP 11), 10th June
At the location indicated in red on the attached Highways map extract. FP 11 crosses a track, at this point, but the photos show what the public are confronted with - rampantly overgrown vegetation, and no indication, whatsoever, that FP 11 even exists, let alone its correct route. There is a clear need for signage to assist persons unfamiliar with the locality to follow FP 11, correctly, in either direction from this location. DEFRA Rights of Way Circular 1/09 (at para 2.11) advises local authorities that it is important for them to "ensure that members of the public are provided with sufficient information, by means of appropriate signs or notices, particularly at path junctions, to enable them to use the local rights of way network".
