Roadwork signs have not been collected for many months following roadworks on A11 earlier in the year, 15th December
This issue was reported in November but the diversion/roadworks signs are still there as at 15 December 2023 although told an inspection would be made. There is one sign still up on B1111 before the A11 goes over the road and there are 3 or 4 redundant signs left on both left and right verges of B1111 as approach Larling village from Roudham which have been overturned and never collected. Whilst they are not causing any objections they have been there for many months and the parish council would like them removed.

Abandoned horsebox on HGV route, 3rd July
A vehicle has been abandoned on the side of the road adjacent to a very busy industrial estate/area. It has been there for around 3 weeks. From looking at gov.uk it seems to have been sold and is not taxed. The MOT expires on the 5th July, this week. It is causing an obstruction as this is a busy route for HGV's and parking occurs at an adjacent fast food outlet.

Numerous large potholes, 17th April
The temporary repair which was carried out a number of weeks ago has FAILED because it was not a suitable repair. Pouring a few buckets of tarmac into wet holes with mud at the bottom was never going to last. A PROPER repair with RESURFACING needs to take place. The numerous potholes are DANGEROUS as people drive to the opposite side of the road to avoid damaging their cars in them. When covered with rain, they are completely hidden and even more dangerous. I invite anyone from Norfolk Highways to travel this road at 30mph in the wet and lets see what damage this causes to their personal vehicles. Perhaps that is when we will see some real improvements.

Drain surround collapsed, 13th January
This drain has been regularly repaired, the last patch repair was just 4 weeks ago. The drain surround collapses, it is a danger to road users as the 40mph road is edged by a pavement, vehicles cannot avoid the deep and wide pothole so causes vehicle damage. A PERMANENT repair is required to fully support this drain surround and prevent further emergency repairs like this.

Large diameter and deep pothole, centre of road, 9th January
Just outside the Roudham Park Ind Estate entrance/Holbrooks entrance. The condition of this part of road has been continually complained about to Highways. There is currently a large, deep pothole, which is in the centre of the road. When filled with rainwater, it is hidden, this can cause damage to tyres, wheels and suspension to both cars and HGV's due to the size of it. If a motorbike hit it, they would be thrown from their vehicle. It is a DANGER to road users on this 40mph section of road.

Dead badgers and other roadkill, 4th May
There's an awful lot of roadkill on the A11 at the moment. There's frequently 2 dead badgers on the Thetford bound side of the road between Larling and Roudham (around the Airsoft place, but other side of the road) There's also quite a few tyre treads about too The A11 is currently being closed overnight for roadworks/speedcam installation, and I wondered if it would be viable for roadkill removal while these works are happening? Thank you.
