Footpath almost unusable, 12th April
The public footpath by Forncett End church is almost unusable and dangerous. It runs next to a field where horses are kept and the fence is not only barbed wire but the posts are leaning into the footpath. I have already caught a jacket on the barbed wire as the path is narrow and I cannot take my grandchildren along there because it is not safe. I think the owners of the field may be responsible for making sure the posts are straightened so they are not leaning into the path but not 100% sure

Flooded road. Saxlingham Nethergate, 23rd December
Ref: NCC ENQ-383632-C4X8HO I would refer to previous reported flooded road problem. Just had 'no reply' email from NCC that they cannot find the problem! It is outside Saxlingham Nethergate Primary School. The problem seems to be where the open ditch coming down Church Hill goes underground past the school and re-emerges into another open ditch going towards the village centre. The culvert is probably blocked and the ditch just overflows right across the road. The culvert just needs rodding out.

Flooded road, 18th December
There is a seriously large flood on the road outside Saxlingham Nethergate Primary School, Pitts Hill on the C201. This is caused by blocked drains underneath the footway. This drain connects two sections of open ditch which drains down the hill towards the village centre. The area of flooding is so large that pupils, parents and visitors cannot cross the road and also risk getting soaked by passing vehicles.
