There is absolutely nothing on the ground to show anyone where Cantley FP 20 leaves/joins FP 22. Section 27(4) of the Countryside Act 1969 places a duty on highway authorities to erect signposts, where needed, to assist persons unfamiliar with the locality to follow the route of the path. Overgrown walkway, 22nd August
The footpath along the River Yare from Cantley Staithe towards Brundall has not been maintained or the grass cut properly this year. Last year it was a joy to walk along but this year is potentially dangerous because of the cracks in the ground can’t be seen due to overgrown grass.
