This section of road floods maybe 20+ times a year. The road drainage is not suitable and can not cope with moderate rain. It floods on the low section of the road between two small hills. The road floods maybe 40 foot long across the whole road up to 2+ feet deep. It floods regularly even in light to moderate rain. It has been flooding for at least the last 10 years. There are drainage gulley's but they can not cope and back up flooding the road. In the winter the surface water freezes to form a skating rink.

Road flooding just past the juction every time it rains, 22nd February
Just off of the junction from church road to wickhampton road the road floods every time it rains. For the past year whenever it rains this section of road floods. Its flooded 3 or 4 time most months of the year. The road has drainage dykes for the surface water on both sides of the road but they are not large enough to cope with the volume of surface water. The flood at this section is normally around 6-14 inches deep and around 20-30 feet long. As the flood is close to junction it is a hazard as it reduces braking efficiency which could lead to and accident at the junction. To resolve the issue the dykes/gully's need to be made wider and deeper to better cope with the surface water. In addition all the roads around this area (wickhampton road, low road, palmer's lane) are also suffering from bank erosion/expansion due to new larger farm spreading trailers being used. This is causing the edges of the road to be undercut in places as the road surface is not as wide as the trailers using it. This also will need council investigation/intervention to stop the road surface being damaged.

Pothole, 27th January
There is a huge pothole if traveling from halvergate towards Reedham. The hole made a huge bang on both nearside tyres I thought they had popped. I shall need to wait until the morning to see if damage has been done. It has been recorded on dash cam as it was loud!! It was hard to spot as there was an on coming car, a cyclist would have been thrown off.
