Potholes on both sides of the road, 12th March
There are deep potholes In the wheel line of a car, on both sides of the road making it almost impossible to miss and less swerving. The road is a single lane with passing places and is unlet. At night time the lack of light makes it difficult to see the pops and when they are filled with rain you can’t tell how deep they are.
The potholes are deep enough to cause severe damage and injury to road users, including cars, motorcyclist and cyclists.
These potholes have been repaired before, but they don’t seem to get repaired properly and keep reopening.

Road in poor state. Potholes. Soil in middle of road causing damage to cars. Flooding. Drainage ditch damaged and not working. Very poor. Dangerous to motor vehicles of all types, cyclists and people walking through flooded potholes, cause of concern twisting of ankles.

Deep pothole opposite side of the road to signpost. Possibly deep enough to damage a vehicle, definitely trip hazard and dangerous to cyclists.
Broad Road is in poor condition: There are several potholes, Debris, grass and weeds in centre of road Road edges are sinking and filling with rainwater,

Flood, 16th February
Where the road goes under the railway line/bridge, there is a low area where rainwater collects. There are two gullies that are blocked. These were recently cleared, but lots of silt was left behind and not cleared. We have had some rain, this is washed the residual silt down and blocked the gullies again. Conditions could result in damage to vehicles, they are preventing pedestrians and cyclists from using the road. Please clear gullies and, remove residual silt to reinstate the safe conditions required.

Potholes, 13th January
Multiple potholes. Now the flooded water is draining away there is multiple potholes in this area. Dangerous because most of the time you can’t see them because the potholes are under water. Dangerous for cars, motorcycle and pedestrians on foot. Someone will end up badly hurting themselves.

Road collapsing into soft verge, 4th January
The soft verge has been damaged and widened by Cawston Slurry tractor and waste tanker. This has caused the road to start to collapse. This will soon become a very large pothole and dangerous. This was recently repaired at great expense with the road closed during repairs. Cawston Slurry is damaging our small village roads.

Multiple potholes, 27th December
Multiple potholes. Most of the potholes are caused by cawston slurry tractor and tanker. Also drainage ditches collapsed causing road to flood. Lots of mud in the centre of road. It’s an accident waiting to happen.
