Vegetation blocking view, 15th May
The vegetation along the A6 is getting so high that you can’t see cars coming when emerging from Addington road (main Irthlingborough town side) Cars shoot up and down the A6 and it’s impossible to see them coming with all the grass and weeds blocking the view. You tell me every year that it’s on your schedule but please make this job earlier in your schedule. It needs to be trimmed down now so drivers have a clear view before pulling out onto the A6. It’s a very tricky junction at the best of times but the vegetation makes it extremely dangerous.

Blocking the road, 10th May
There’s a company at the bottom of my road, called Dats, they are a printing company, and at least 5 time a week they block the street, unloading paper lorries or the bin men. I find this very dangerous as if someone needed an ambulance or fire engine, somebody could loose there life or property. I have some medical problems and this makes me so anxious. Yesterday we had to wait 10 minutes for them to empty the bins as you can see by the photos, I had an hospital appointment, they know what they are doing and slow down. It’s the lorries that are making the potholes at the bottom of the street, and the most annoying thing is they have a loading bay on Victoria street, which they don’t use. Hope you can sort these problems out

Customer reports., 8th May
Adjacent to the rear of 62 - The vegetation is over growing from the greenway into garden. Customer advises that this has now resulted in fences being misplaced. They would like to arrange a site visit for someone from the council to come and see the extent of the damage from the overgrown greenway on the garden. A lot of the vegetation is dead so ideally this would be removed.

Pavement Parking, 8th May
During the car boot it is impossible to get my childs pram along the pavement due to the obstruction caused by cars parking on the path. To go around the cars would mean walking many many car lengths on a main trunk road, where traffic often travels in excess of the 40mph limit.

Cars illegally parked on sundays, 6th May
On sunday mornings I regularly travel south past the Diamonds car boot sale . Every week there are cars parked illegally on verges and actually on the path way. I witnessed on more than one occasion people with children in prams /on bikes have to go onto the busy A6 to get past these cars. I have contacted the organisers and they tell me that they have no jurisdiction over the road to do anything and that they previously have also reported it. As the weather has started to improve the problem has got worse. why is this allowed and will it take a serious accident to get anything done about it, because soone or later that is whats going to happen.

Lack of junction markings dangerous, 4th May
This morning two delivery vans hit each as neither gave way to the other due to missing junction markings. Heard driver of van coming out of Lodge Way into Ebbw Vale Road say they assumed had priority when not the case. Someone is going to get seriously hurt here at some point because this keeps happening. Not helped by cars/vans parking on/near the junction (and road in foreground being narrower by the Adit).
