As a resident on this street, I'm encountering challenges finding parking spaces, particularly due to the presence of large vans taking up significant room. It's frustrating because these vehicles aren't supposed to be parked on the street, and their presence makes it difficult for residents like me to secure a spot. Additionally, there are several cars, notably a white van, that have been left unused for months.

The location is opposite the new block of flats have been built it’s a massive pot hole you can’t miss it also the road it’s self is full of holes it’s so unsafe (former sofa king building)

A Blocked/Damaged problem has been found, 3rd May
Relates to report 5885551
L received an email from Fix My Street concerning the issue of a blocked drain,stating that the state had been changed to fixed .This is false information as the drain in question is still completely blocked. To clarify the position of this drain, when entering Deal Court there is a 6 space carpark on the left.When pulling in to park the drain is in the bottom right hand corner.This is at the edge of the pavement next to the bushes outside Flat 22. Carpark is used during the day. I hope this issue will be completed very soon.

Potholes and failed repairs, 3rd May
All along Windrush way there are potholes and failed repair patch ups. We moved in in February and the holes were here from when we viewed the house in October 2023. This road may not be a through road but has a high pedestrian and traffic rate.

The drain covers in the footpath outside 215 Wellingborough Road are broken and has left a long strip open for people to fall down. its about 90cm in length, 15-20cm wide.

Commercial waste bins, 2nd May
Why is it permissible to park commercial waste bins on double yellow lines when the users have a service area especially for bin storage but they choose to use it for vehicle parking. Most of the time these bins are overflowing and blows rubbish down the road. These bins sited here also encourage fly tipping around them and a rat problem.

Illegal Parking, 2nd May
Why is the car rental company permitted to park every day continuously taking up the whole laybay area that is subject to double yellow lines. Any member of the public parking on yellow lines would get a parking ticket but this company seems to be exempt. Has the council got some special arrangement to allow this.

Pothole by Carlsberg, 2nd May
Outside the Carlsberg turning where the slabbed concrete is designed for the heady lorry’s the gaps in between have now broken away and created 10-20 inch pot holes. Several people who use this road for work access have suffered with popped tyres, damaged alloys and knackered suspension bushes.
The gaps inbetween the slabs requires new tarmac laying down all the way to where the slabs end

Numerous potholes at least 2 inches deep. Get 'fixed' regularly but fixings never last longer than a week. Appalling from the council, what a waste of council tax.

Potholes marked incorrectly as fixed, 2nd May
For around the 3rd time in past 12 months workmen have arrived to incompetently repair these potholes. Yesterday these were one again marked as complete. Judging by the standard of repair it will only be a few weeks before these are full blown potholes yet again. The standard and level of repairs is substandard, and if representative countywide then there is no surprise this council is lacking in funds. A change of contractors is desperately needed.

Bloody Eyesore, 2nd May
Understandable to have litter scattered near the tip which is even more reason to regularly clear it. Rubbish strewn all along this road which is an absolute eyesore. Says an awful lot about the management of services. The fencing by the path is all dilapidated with overgrown vegetation. Has been like it for a long time. Councillors must go there with blinkers on! Come on! Enough of this S**t H**e mentality!

The bottom 10m of road before new surface at junction totally failed., 1st May
The 10m above the new surface at the bottom of road has totally failed. Right hand side of road is now all a gravel filled area, and LHS is potholes there is also a big (inch or two) step up to the newer road surface. You must know of the area but I can't see an existing report. This has been getting worse for months, urgent on safety grounds for all users.
