Right of Way Blocked, 17th April
A resident recently followed the public right-of-way to the bottom of Ashby Road and crossed the road following the sign going down the side of 19 The Green. It appears that the tenants living in 20 The Green have extended their fence at the rear into the area of the footpath. They have checked the boundary on the Government’s web site and it shows that the boundary should be in line with the side of 19 The Green. This fence protrudes approximately 80cm into the public rights of way.

Numerous potholes, 15th April
The High Street outside of the church has numerous pot holes. Some are new, some are from previous repairs that have failed. As vehicles park on the road by the church, the pot holes have constant wear from traffic in and out of the village. Further smaller but numerous pot holes have occurred from the church upto the pub.

20inch across pot hole, 2nd April
The pothole has been here for a few months. It is sort of square not round with a sharp edge on the exit side of the hole so if caught at the rightr angle will burst the trye and possibly damage the wheel.

Deep pot on A45 Brauston road, 2nd April
Very deep pot.. which has caused damaged to my car. It’s basically in the middle of the road so hard to miss. And would be seen in the dark or when raining or if there was snow or ice it’s clearly been there a while as it’s a broke up in 2 places. Very dangerous.

The road condition is damaged and unsafe. There are at least 20 potholes between the marked point and the Badby Road junction. In Daventry. Some are so large that anyone on a motorcycle or bike could be killed if they hit them at any speed. Would also do damage to cars.

35 High Street Braunston has a hole in front of drive caused by cable company, 27th March
Gigaclear has caused damage to the road in front of property and a whole rectangle of tarmac has dipped in and collects water. It is near their water metre as well. It is approx 1 meter long by .5 meter wide. This causing pool of standing water in front of drive. Gigaclear said they would fix it but have appeared. They now say they never did it and will not be fixing it.
