25 pothole on on a half mile stretch of road, 19th March
This is a mile long road and there in excess of 25 potholes over a half mile stretch, some you literally have to stop to get round as on either side of the road so cant avoid. School bus, delivery, farm traffic and general comings and goings, we have reported before but nothing has happened and really in a very bad state of repair now with small potholes increasing all the time. The road is a through road off the A697. Normally this road is maintained well but we seem to have been forgotten about this time - I appreciate many areas need work but if you could please help and improve this road asap that would be appreciated. Thank you

Road Surface Breaking Up, 16th March
The road surface on this ‘blind’ corner has been breaking up for some time now and due to heavy vehicle use (logging trucks and aggregate wagons in particular) it has now become a serious hazard. To avoid driving over the breaking surface you need to drive in the middle/right hand side of the road which is extremely dangerous as you are unable to see any oncoming vehicles.

Edges of road disintegrating on both sides, 13th August
This whole road is a patchwork of repairs. Many in need of redoing. However in this area (between Elf Hills Plantation and Elf Hills Farm) both sides of the road are crumbling away and in desperate need of fixing. The photos show only a small example) It is unsafe for two vehicles to pass in this area with drivers, and cyclists, driving along the middle of the road. Also heavy vehicles (cattle wagons, farm vehicles, log trailers and cement/rock trucks) continuously use this road and are likely the cause of the problem. Substantial repair is needed, not a quick fix patch.

Road side washed away and substrate across road, 9th August
This was reported to NCC after the storm over a year ago. The road side and base was washed down to the bridge. It still forms a stretch of rubble that must be crossed. Due to sharp hardcore cutting into and damaging road surface there are now extensive potholes next to the narrow bridge. Stones are thrown up by vehicles (unlimited road) causing risk to pedestrians.
