Ashgillhead Rd from Tinto Rd to Bartie Gdns needs resurfaced, 22nd May
The surface is a bumpy mess of potholes and sunken trenches. Driving over it feels like a farm track. This is a busy road with a 1/2 hour bus service both ways and the main road between Larkhall and Netherburn. Recently, less important, dead end side roads have been resurfaced,I cannot see the reason for this when Ashgillhead road is in such a poor state.I have lived here more than 10 years and it has not been resurfaced.

Parking Issue, 16th April
I am currently the owner of a flat with a designated parking space (written into title deeds). My neighbours also have parking spaces. The space in which we park is at a premium and only works because we respect one anothers individual spaces. We have a problem with a young man whom has decided to park in our yard causing numerous access issues. This individual as no rights to park here and does not belong to any of the neighbouring flats but continues to park here on a daily basis. We have asked him numerous time to remove his vehicle and have been met with a torrent of verbal abuse. We believe his girlfriend has a flat on union street whom she rents from a letting agent in Strathaven (Bright Property). We have contacted the agent 3 times by phone and submitted a letter in writing detailing our problem. They have said they have spoken to their client and will do so again but we have lost good faith as their communication is very poor and they have failed to even acknowledge our letter. We look to you for our next step in dealing with this matter as it is making our homelife very unpleasant at present.
