Drain cover missing, 26th January
Drain cover is missing at this location, reported to council by telephone on the 20/01/11 and to strathclyde police, took 36 hours for council to attend and place a traffic cone on top of it. i personally have replaced this traffic cone three times now as traffic keeps hitting it and leaving it unmarked. i have sustained damage to my vehicle to the tune of £160 and find this deplorable that it is not cordoned off properly

Road surface destroyed!, 5th February
For a 2 miles stretch heading towards Thankerton from Quothquon, the road surface has been destroyed entirely. Every 50 metres there are enormous potholes across the entire road and flood debris is strewn across the road as well.
