Between this junction and through Quothquan towards Biggar this road is a disgrace. Many potholes, and at the junction the many large stones where the road has fallen to bits are dangerous, as well as the potholes these stones have come out of.

Road surface destroyed!, 5th February
For a 2 miles stretch heading towards Thankerton from Quothquon, the road surface has been destroyed entirely. Every 50 metres there are enormous potholes across the entire road and flood debris is strewn across the road as well.
