Large Pot Hole, 13th April
Large hole at side of road, and with cars park on otherside you cant avoid hitting it.

Grass Verge and Banking needs cutting, 18th September
Weeds and Rosebay willow are now make the verge and banking very unsightly and blocking vision for drivers

Children's play area, 2nd September
A sign is needed on fenced small play area at Carstairs village green,to make dog owners aware that dogs are not allowed in that area. This is to maintain children's safty. Also dog fouling is still a problem around that area

Railway View, 2nd September
Railway View is the main access for entrance of schoolchildren to Carstairs Primary School. It is regularly strewn with broken and shattered alcohol bottles, which have been consumed by locals and deliberately smashed and scattered on the path. This is a dangerous hazard and an accident waiting to happen. The council have done nothing apart from claim it is nothing to do with them. I wonder will it take a serious injury of a child to galvanise them to action .... Also it would now appear that the house on the corner of Railway View and Avenue Rd has decided Railway View is a public road for his car and has knocked part of his wall down to allow access. The other end of Railway View has two bollards preventing vehicular access. The one at the Avenue Rd junction ... has disappeared ... Another accident waiting to happen. Not good

Bus stop destroyed, 18th May
The bus stop opposite Corbiehall Terrace was destroyed by a road accident over a month ago and has still not been replaced.

Coal dust, 17th May
I live next door to the coal depot at Ravenstruther and we have been having problems with the coal dust blowing over from the depot for years, the house is covered in dust and if we open our windows the dust builds up on the curtains and cills, also noticable build up on any surface outside by running a finger over it. I have asthma and so does my neighbour so it can't be doing us any good breathing this stuff on a daily basis.

Vibration from traffic, 12th May
Lorries passing my house at 2 Corbiehall Terrace are causing a serious vibration problem as they impact the kerb on the corner, they simply take the corner too fast and by doing so hit the kerb constatly, five lorries have hit the kerb since i started typing this, the heavy goods traffic outside my house is getting out of control.

Potholes, 5th March
The length of this road needs urgent attention to fill in some serious potholes, for around 1-2 miles long. Irespective of planned resurfacing, it needs at least some tar filled into the potholes.

Badly repaired road surface, 8th January
The surface of this stretch of road had been poorly repaired and it is deteriorating rapidly. I travel this road every day - in the dark - and even though I know the road is bad I still find the car being bounced about because of the poor surface. Pity help anyone driving at speed who does not realise the condition of the surface. Please repair this before there is an accident.

Badly uneven road surface, 19th October
This area is a badly repaired road surface, and when driving over it, especially in the dark / rain, appears to be a danger, and could cause vehicles to collide.

Numerous potholes, 3rd March
With recent bad weather there are numerous potholes on this section of road. Of particular concern are some which are located on a blind summit. This road is narrow and also does not have any street lighting. Cars drivers are avoiding the potholes by positioning themselves in the centre of the road which poses a great danger on the blind summit. The potholes are increasing in size with the continued poor weather.

Dangerous Potholes, 3rd February
There is a particularly dangerous pothole....amongst others...on this stretch of road (SE of A721 passed Harelaw roundabout.)I imagine it to be deadly for a motorcyclist and concerned enough to report it. Thanks.
