Flooding of Public Path and Recreation Ground, 31st January
Recreation Ground is Flooded on a regular basis. This has been caused by a landslip on the former site of Douglas Glebe Colliery washing many tons of bing material downstream in the Burnhose Burn. This is causing the Burn to overflow into the football parks as the burn at this point is now higher than the recreation ground.

Potholes along entire road, 8th February
There are potholes all along this stretch of road over a 1/2 distance. I have contacted the council several time over the last few years and have been told by them that they are aware of the problem. After 2 1/2 years they should have come up with funding to repair the road by now.

The road in this area can no longer be described as a road and more a collection of holes. The road has been like this for over 2 years and despite contacting the council several times no action has been taken.
