FIXMYSTREET IN M45 7HP
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of M45 7HP:
Lanes to be Clearly Marked, 14th May
Coming off the M60 travelling Eastbound towards Prestwich, Traffic is supposed to be in the right-hand lane which then filters into the middle of the roundabout before the next set of traffic lights.
Near misses are common at this roundabout as road users are often confused that which lane they are to be in, usually they position themselves in the middle lane to then cross the lines which are fed from the 3rd inner lane.
Arrows to be clarified further back from the attached photo as the Right hand lane doesn't have an arrow pointing to the right, instead it points straight ahead.
A Good example of how this has been improved elsewhere can be found at the White City Circular Roundabout on the A5081 heading towards Trafford road which had a similar problem Pre March 2017 until they painted lines showing traffic where to position themselves in the lanes.(Photo attached)

Pavement collapse. Middle footbridge. M60 junction 17., 14th May
The pavement has collapsed at the Prestwich end of the middle public footbridge at the Prestwich / Whitefield roundabout on the M60 at junction 17. (I've already raised this issue with Bury Council, who tell me that the land is your responsibility. They've just left a couple of traffic cones over the damaged area!)

Bins blocking pavement, 10th May
Bins are left out on the pavements on the top of Clifton Road all the time. They block the pavement at the top near BNR causing pedestrians to have to walk on the road. They ate also left on the pavement opposite causing obstruction for prams, wheelchairs and pedestrians. Today my grandson bashed his face and eye on one. The houses have gardens at the back so could put the bins in there and they be emptied on Warick Street.

Huge pothole middle of road, 27th April
Huge pothole it is in the middle of the road and hard to avoid. Approximately at the pin. I drove through it and my tyre busted. Had to pay 180 pounds for them to come and fix it. A lady came up to me while waiting for recovery. She told me the same thing happened to her at the same pothole a week or so earlier. This is quite dangerous.

Bad parking, 22nd April
This car is half on the foot path and half on the road and is very very close to my side ,sometimes even on it .This makes it way harder for me to park my car and troubles me as I use my vehicle quite often .I have ignored it many times but for a while I have noticed that this specific car hasn't moved for over a spam of many days and I have a feeling that the owners of this car aren't here anymore .it has stayed in the same place for over a week and I'm finding it troubling .I can't park my car properly as its really close to my driveway.

Extremely deep pothole, drove over with my brand new car, expecting some damage, 21st April
Unfortunately I couldn’t see this pothole at night but I drove over and it was so deep that it badly jerked my car and made an awful bang. If I was on a motorcycle I’d have had a serious accident. It needs immediate attention.
