Speed camera A580 lights/ Mosley common, 16th August
The speed camera on the lights on the a580 junction of Mosley common road going towards Manchester along the a580 is broken. It’s constantly flashing when the lights are on go. It was getting all of us as we set off from stopped. This was today 16/08/23 at approx 2024.

The speed camara on the East Lancs Road (A580) is faulty and flashes every few seconds at traffic just starting off at the traffic lights. 12th May 8pm

Sunken man hole cover, 17th January
This manhole keeps sinking, this causes a severe jolts to my home when vehicles hit it. It has caused my inner wall to crack from the top of the side apex down to the bathroom window.

Large pothole Warrington Road, Risley just before Birchwood Park bus stop, 18th December
Large pothole on Warrington Road, Risley just before Birchwood Park bus stop and opposite lamp post 75. As a consequence of the drains not been cleared for many years, they now flood the road after heavy rain and thereby undermine the road surface as the photo clearly shows. Almost every drain is blocked along Warrington Road, Risley (see separate report).

Damaged Manhole making loud noise, 8th August
The cover of the manhole between number 235 and 237 Chaddock Lane is either damaged or displaced making a loud noise when vehicles drive through, especially at night.

Pothole caused damage to my tyre which resulted in a puncture, 16th February
The pothole has been here for a matter of weeks now and it has only been getting worse and more and more dangerous for motorists on the road. I hit the pothole about 15 minutes ago on Sunday 16th February 2020 at around 20:55 it shook the card and we heard a loud bang. Luckily I was close to home when it happened and when I did I get home I found that it had caused damage to my tyre and had caused a puncture. I now have to pay out £60+ for a new tyre.

Hole in the road outside newearth road near stafford rd, 29th January
Its been bad for months Its been fixed once but its as bad again filling up with water we are getting soaked and covered in stones when cars go down it.

Cars parked on footpath, 9th October
Cars always parked on footpath Not allowing children.mums with prams buggies or mobility scooters to get to the park forceing them to use the road not the footpath. Even the homeowners can't gain proper access to their own homes It's a very busy street with cars so something needs to be done

Mice in home, 4th July
Mice are a huge health problem for me and my family I have a 3 month old baby in the house and3, times she has caught a sticky eye and when I moved in after a few weeks I heard mice in attack but as I haven't experienced mice in home before I didn't know what the noises were I thought it was pipes or birds then I noticed droppings and bought traps and poison but still signs of mice

Cutting of verges, 14th May
On the first cutting of the verges, they were cut carefully and neatly. There has been little attempt to cut by the edges and corners when cut in last couple of days, so x % of thr grass has not been cut at all. The cutting of the verge between no 37 and no 39 is, in my view, carelessly done with little care.

Pot holes, 24th February
Bad pot holes here up main access street that leads to crosslands road. Has been filled in the past with stones but is now bad again. Lots of cars are having to use the other exit / entrance on other side so it doesn't damage car etc.

There are some large potholes on Chaddock Lane, between the Applewood Farm and the section of Chaddock Lane (near East Lancs Road) that was resurfaced last year.

Repair of poor quality, 20th February
This section of Mosley Common Road was recently (Dec 2015) resurfaced, however the surface is already (Feb 2016) not smooth and and there are defects. So far they're not very large, but certainly if nothing is done, they will form potholes next winter. Can the council contact the contractor who resurfaced the road and demand all the defects are repaired by them with no extra cost to the taxpayer?
