Flytip, 29th April

Mon, 29 Apr 2024 15:46:55 +0100

Irresponsible rubbish dumping occurs in a regular basis around the dumpsters .The Council doesn't take countermeasures to prevent this. I believe that’s a cause for this still occurring. This problem has been an issue for approximately five months and is worsening by the increasing temperature as it’s attracting animals like rats and foxes, also it makes the area surrounding the bins have a strong odour which is very unpleasant. It would be great if the council can help in regulating these areas to prevent poor use of these bins

This is getting ridiculous. People from afar are coming here to flytip often. It is a problem that is continously happening. There was a guy who I caught who just threw the bin right outside the bin. He doesn't even puts it inside. It is ridiculous that this is still a reoccurring issue. This happened almost everyday and it doesn't look like it is stopping whatsoever. We as tenants can't even use it for ourselves because people from random places come here and fill it up to the brim. They even overfill it which causes unwanted pests and trash to be everywhere. I find trash all over the road. Please fix this. I hate living in an area where it always unhygienic and unsanitary. It is unfair that we have to struggle with this when there is nothing there to control the people trashing the area.

Street being used as a garage, 28th April

Sun, 28 Apr 2024 16:22:53 +0100
51.39713 -0.139438

Over the past few months, there have been more and more cars being parked on our street as people (I can tell you who) have been fixing up cars on the road. This weekend the road has been full of abandoned cars that i'm sure they'll be working on at some point this week. It's hard enough to park on our road as it is and also to turn around at the end of the road. We have young children and we have had to park on Hadley road and walk down to our house. Please can you stop this, we haven't been able to a park at our house all weekend.

Rubbish not collected withing given timeframe, 28th April

Sun, 28 Apr 2024 07:16:39 +0100
51.404817 -0.133973

As per photo , tenants of the flats are required to leave their rubbish outside withing the timeframe given ( photo) Yet, they are never collected till following day or after the weekend. How does it work then , how we are supposed to dispose out rubbish? I've asked If we can get the bins, request was refused as council does not provide the bins for the flats. Interestingly, few numbers further flats have sets of bins in front of their houses. Surely that would avoid spreading mess by foxes if collection is missed. Now, we, the tenants who always sweep and clean this messy corner need to report themselves for the rubbish to be collected and to avoid the fine that was once already issued not for fly tipping as stated but for rubbish still being on the street as the collection as usual failed
