Dog waste, 13th April
We own a business on Bellenden rd and also have 3 children that walk to school and everyday we have to clean up dog poo and wee everyday from outside our shop and walk around it on our way to school. This is everyday and it’s disgusting. I’ve complained before and Southwark have been good at cleaning it up the next day but it’s just as bad by the afternoon. Our shops on the street have taken a hit with the economic crisis and now with the lack of street parking so dealing with a dirty pavement everyday is something we shouldn’t have to deal with. We’re constantly cleaning the pavement but something needs to be done to prevent it. Our kids are walking to school and sitting on carpets all day with the same shoes they walk to school with and the pavement is covered in urine and dog poo. Can someone look into this and either add additional signs or have a warden patrol the streets for a few weeks to give a few fines to make a point.

Commercial waste bin permanently placed on pavement, 12th April
The shops at 116, 118 and 120 Denmark Hill SE5 8RX all have big commercial waste bins that they cannot and do not store them somewhere else during the week. This means that the pabement is permanently blocked and often times covered in litter. According to Lambeth’s rules, the bins shouldn’t be on the pavement at all times.

Abandoned Veolia Wheelie Bin on Pavement, 12th April
The large Veolia bin has been on pavement on Crampton Street next Pullens Gardens Park and George Elliot House entrance. It has been there for over a month. It is now full of rubbish and now getting more dumping on pavement around it.
