Light nuisance coming from light fixed to outside of 22 Hanson Street, 3rd May
There is an LED floodlight fixed to Dunster House, 22 Hanson Street, on the building to the right of the entry doors. It shines directly into my sitting room. The photos were taken in my sitting room on 2 May 2024 at night. The bright wall photo is how brightly the floodlight illuminates my sitting room, unless I close the shutters. It's so bright that it hurts the eyes to look out the window. The light is not needed, as there is no video phone and the street has sufficient streetlights. Please ask the managing company (I believe it is Westminster Council housing) to remove it.

Safety Issues — Chalk Farm Rd Cycle Path, 2nd May
While it’s great to see Camden invest in cycle infrastructure, such as the development of the Chalk Farm Rd cycle path, I have a number of concerns regarding the termination point near Hartland Rd.
The end of the path is not only poorly conceived but also poses a significant threat to the safety of cyclists.
Of particular concern is the acute angle at which cyclists will be directed onto the roadway, a design choice that not only lacks practicality but also increases the risk of collisions with traffic. Additionally, the presence of a bump immediately preceding this juncture exacerbates the perilous situation as cyclists' attention at this critical moment would likely be behind them, focused on the approaching traffic.
If the decision is to implement a give-way protocol at the termination of the cycle path then this introduces additional complications, as the potential accumulation of waiting cyclists could impede the flow of traffic entering or exiting Hartland Rd. This logistical bottleneck not only undermines the efficiency of the cycling infrastructure but also discourages its utilisation in favour of safer alternatives.
It is alarming that such hazardous conditions were not identified and rectified during the design phase. The inherent danger of the current layout cannot be overstated, as it is bound to result in accidents and injuries if left unaddressed.
It is imperative that these issues are addressed to ensure the safety of cyclists and I urge the council to take immediate action before the path is opened to the public.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Metal bollard removed on Chalcot Square, 2nd May
The metal bollard that previously restricted access to emergency services only at the corner of Chalcot Square (near Berkeley Rd) has been removed. As a result, large trucks/lorries and other vehicles are now using this area as a cut-through.
The area is unsuitable for heavy goods vehicles (HGVs), a concern that has escalated recently with instances of them reversing the wrong way down the 'no entry' on Chalcot Square.
Please can you urgently replace the bollard and ensure it’s securely fixed in place to prevent its removal or theft in the future. Although someone attempted to mark the area with a cone recently, that has since been moved too. Additionally, installing signage could help prevent further misuse of the space.
This area is frequented by local residents and visitors who utilise the benches, making it particularly hazardous to have vehicles passing by at close proximity. The increased traffic is also contributing to increased noise and pollution and potentially causing damage to the cobbles.
