Illegal parking a regular problem, 25th April
People routinely park on the double yellow lines and pavement opposite the entrance to Waitrose. This forces the elderly, disabled and people with prams into the road to pass near a busy and dangerous junction. Enforcement of the nearby controlled parking zone (operating 10.30-11.30) happens daily, but nobody ever seems to get a ticket for parking illegally any other time.

JJ roofing Hoppers road enabled to litter the streets, 17th April
I have complained about the actions of this store for five years now. The owners, staff and customers throw rubbish onto the street each day - much of it hazardous - including builders waste, packaging, bottles of urine, and regularly plastic gloves. Today I picked up the gloves - a hazard to wildlife - and found myself covered in blood that was on one of the gloves. The council of Enfield are bankrupt and have no front line services and do not investigate or prosecute. When they did on one occasion they deemed it not to be a problem. Street cleaning on this road is atrocious and errant so I do it each day. I pick up filthy materials because the store and the council will not.

Striations in road surface, 13th April
Lots of mini potholes and striations in the road surface on the northbound side near the top of the hill. Very dangerous as a cyclist - they are big enough to throw you off (but may not cause too much problem to a driver). You have to ride out in the centre of the road and keep swerving to avoid hitting one and coming off your bike. Which is very dangerous and hugely annoys the rest of the traffic!

Several deep potholes in Avenue Road, 2nd April
In Avenue Road there are several deep and dangerous potholes in the section of road from the traffic lights at junction with Chase Side when going in the direction of Trent Gardens/Nursery Road. They are likely to cause damage to a car but are more of a danger for those on Motor Bikes or cycles, especially when filled with rainwater, as, due to parked vehicles, they will be forced to use centre section of road which is where the potholes are.
