Is there any chance you could ask number 57 Leopold road to cut their hedge back to the boundary of their property please? As you can see, it overhangs about a third of the pavement width and is difficult to get a buggy around, or even walk two abreast. And with the new trees Barnet has planted it's made it even more difficult to get past. It would be good if the pavement could be for pedestrians. Thanks.

Bollard removed from concrete and loose, 12th May
By the zebra crossing on Colney Hatch Lane, outside no 47, a bollard has been levered out of the concrete and is loose on the pavement. It is a trip hazard and would cause a serious problem if pushed into the road. Tried to upload photos but it's buffering

Dear Barnet Council
I am writing to urgently draw your attention to a concerning issue that is affecting the health and well-being of our community in Basing Way. The persistent habit of my neighbour, from Flat 52, in idling his car a Black Audi - NMG - 33S, for extended periods is not only a nuisance but also poses significant health risks due to emissions.
For some time now, my neighbour has been routinely leaving their vehicle idling for approximately 20 minutes each day. This practise not only contributes to noise pollution but also releases harmful emissions into the air, thereby jeopardising the health of everyone in the vicinity. As you are well aware, prolonged exposure to such pollutants can lead to respiratory problems and exacerbate existing health conditions, especially for vulnerable groups such as children, the elderly, and individuals with respiratory ailments.
I am deeply concerned about the impact this continuous idling is having on our health and well-being. It is imperative that immediate action is taken to address this issue and mitigate its adverse effects. I kindly request that the council intervene and take appropriate measures to kerb this behaviour.
I urge you to prioritise this matter. Your prompt attention to this issue is greatly appreciated, and I look forward to hearing about the steps the council will take to address it.

Lamps needs new driver. Continuously flashing throughout night time., 3rd May
I reported a problem with the street light in front of 38 Etheldene Avenue. It was looked at by highway maintenance in daytime but the flashing through night hours continues. Spoke to highway maintenance team that had looked at the lamp. He confirmed it needs a new ‘driver’ to stop the flashing. This is depriving me and my neighbours of sleep and requires urgent attention.
