There is an old street light here. It is smothered in ivy. If the light does work then it is concealed by the ivy. It can be a dangerous corner so we would like the lamp post and light restored please.

No pedestrian cycle, 14th May
The traffic lights are skipping the pedestrian crossing phase so pedestrians have to take their chances when there is a break in traffic. This is increasing risk for local residents and thousands of students and staff travelling to and from the nearby university. I believe a similar report was raised over a month ago but the fault has still not been addressed.

Rubbish left on our doorstep, 14th May
There have been bags of rubbish left on practically a daily basis that are not in bags for local rubbish collection, most bags are open so the contents spill out onto the pavement and then passers by are dumping whatever they like on top and beside. Label on one package was from brewers yard and this morning from up the road, I think it’s a cleaner that is doing it, as it’s after hours or before 7 in the morning.

We are Mary Seacole Nursing Home on Nuttall Street and our bins are located inside the St Leonard's site. Our bins are overflowing and the bags are all over the floor. The bins are situated in an outside store. Code for Store: C270A.

Uneven road surface, 13th May
A member of public had an accident along there on 7th May 2024: I Just had a cycle road accident on Essex Road near Balls Pond Road (outside bus stop on Essex Road) due to road camber. Could quite easily have been a fatality. Passersby quickly stopped car immediately behind me.
