Cracks starting to appear on surface in a 600mm x 1000mm section on nearside approaching village, 2 metres from 20mph sign on a section of road that was fully re-surfaced 2 years ago - preventative works needed before area breaks up

Deep ruts at side of road, 8th March
There is a deep rut at the side of the road which is difficult to see in daylight and virtually impossible to see in the dark. This morning a vehicle was grounded - see photo. Filling the rut and/or warning posts with reflectors would be helpful

Overgrown hedges, 29th July
The hedges down Sychdyn lane are HORRENDOUS, they are scratching vehicles paint work and a invoice will be sent to the council for the repair work on the damaged vehicles due to the lack of hedge cutting. It’s been needed to be cut since 6 weeks but by now a complaint must be filed. Thanks

On going pothole issue, 24th November
Potholes all the way down to Sychdyn from the top road, it needs sorting. It’s an ongoing issue and never gets sorted properly by the council. It’s causing damage to cars and the council will be held liable to this. A proper solution needs to be done

Many potholes & lots of loose gravel from pothole, 23rd June
These potholes have been there for many months and steadily getting worse. All loose gravel from all potholes makes it quite dangerous when I travel on my motorcycle. There are several 100s of meters of damaged highway, and futher up the road there is a small amount subsidence

Major landslide, 1st February
The heavy rain has caused major land slides along this road causing it near impossible to get through with our cars. This is a council lane therefore any damage or loss of income from not being able to leave the premises will be inflicted on the council. Not only vehicles can’t leave easily but other business associated vehicles can hardly get to the premises. Taking a large slice off the the whole lane may be the best result long term but something needs to be done short term immediately. Thank you.

Blocked drain here again causing water to Welsh Water meter cabinet ., 17th January
Second time this has occurred, previously cleared, but apparently not successful. The meter cabinet is continuously flooding. The earlier problem I believe caused the malfunction of the old meter which has been replaced with new one. This is the supply o my property “ Plas Alaw “.

Blocked rain gully on lane to Sychdyn Farm., 15th October
This drain has been blocked for ages. It is now causing the road surface to deteriorate, also flooding is occurring further down toward farm entrance. I believe an earlier message has been reported about an ongoing issue with the state of the road surface due to a lack of maintenance here. It appears to me that this lane is “ off the map “ as far as the council is concerned !

Potholes and poor road surface, 6th July
The road down to Sychdyn Farm down from the top road connecting to the road to the village needs attention. It needs patching up with a few bad potholes that need fixing up. The poor road surface is causing damage to the cars suspension and a bill will be sent to Denbighshire CC if the road isn’t sorted after being reported.
