Defective road surface, 14th July
I recently had cause to visit Park Lane Kennels which is a very well established local business providing a service to Wrexham and area. The lane is absolutely riddled with potholes and the road surface is in an appalling condition in neglect of the Highway Authority’s statutory duty. It is likely to be causing damage to vehicles using the lane be it local residents, farms and businesses using the route.

The whole of Marford hill is littered with potholes especially going down the hill. It has been dangerous for a number of years now and numerous complaints have been made but it is getting worse, it is dangerous for bikes and motorcycles and it is only a matter of time before someone gets hurt

Blocked drains and pouring of water down the street, 20th June
The drains on Borras Road towards Buck road have still not been cleared and the rain is causing heavy flooding down the street to the nearby gardens. This was reported last year and still nothing has been done. The pot holes are getting worse because of it and it’s dangerous when cars pull out of buck road onto Borras Road.

Potholes, 21st December
Potholes all the way down Marford hill both across the road and running the same way as the road. Really dangerous for bikes as they have to avoid getting wheels stuck in the groves going down the hill and then avoid the numerous potholes and damaged road. One pothole I hit on my bike instantly punctured my front wheel and I struggled to control my bike, luckily no buses or cars were nearby or I may have been much worse!
