Concrete Girder at entrance of Bridle way, 15th November
The Girder has been put at the entrance to.the bridle way bynthe farm manager to stop travellers illegally accessing the land. It leaves only a small gap for horses to squeeze through. Some horses spook and will.not pass through because it is covered in vegetation. Being this close to the A47 on a horse already presents safety problems and this adds to them. A rider friendly gate should be installed.
A kilometer further up the track, nearer to Ridlington, where the bridle way passes between.2 hedges is is very overgrown. The shrubs and hedges need cutting back. The land is believed to be owned by Parker Farms.
