Newbold Lane, 17th June
The surface of Newbold Lane between Somerby and Newbold has very badly deteriorated. Previous repairs have disintegrated under the wheels of heavy vehicles (over 30m), several 'folds' in the surface have formed and several large potholes have appeared.

Somerby Road to Halstead, 3rd November
The condition of Somerby Road/Owston Road/Whatborough Road [from Somerby to Halstead], is in a disgraceful condition. On particular stretches of this road, the edge has completely disappeared leaving a 9 inch+ drop to the verge in places. Extremely dangerous when driving a car and passing other vehicles on this narrow road.
