Road markings faded on turning refuge, 6th May
The white markings have been allowed to fade for some time. This endangers traffic on the B668 turning right into Rogues Lane, as oncoming traffic have a tendency to stray into that space. More so since the markings have faded. This road is regularly used by HGVs

Faded 30mph Road Sign, 30th April
Sign is very faded and difficult to see when tree is in full foliage. Beyond this sign is a hidden pedestrian access, which is not apparent to on coming drivers on a difficult junction. The 30mph signs could be moved further back from the village and the pedestrian way of crossing could do with being reviewed and made safer in layout.

The photograph is a Google image not sure how deep the pot hole is but it's probably a meter long., 22nd April
The flooding on this corner due to wet weather is constantly flooded. It's difficult to tell just how deep the pothole is because the rain has never dried up in the hole since last December. The school bus should probably park on the opposite side of the road, as this is part of the reason why the grips keep on getting blocked up.

Long pothole (60/70cm+ in length and 15+cm wide at edge of carriageway., 17th April
This pothole was reported several weeks ago, along with another approx 10m further up. One was partially repaired whilst this one was left untouched. This pothole is fairly deep and fills with water. I got soaked with filthy water as a car drove through the pothole because oncoming traffic meant it couldn't be avoided; the footpath running close alongside the carriageway.

Lack of Roadside Grass cutting, 8th April
When are the grass verges due to be cut in the whole of Cottesmore- and perhaps in the county as a whole- they look a real mess and no doubt ,when cut , the grass will be left all over the footpaths and roadsides ? Don ‘t think they have been cut at all this year yet and if let to grow any longer will be a real toll on the mowers- to help overcome these problems can the operators be asked to cut at the correct speeds and heights of cut to give the machines a chance to cut the grass dwarfs properly.

Series of potholes on bend junction, 26th March
Series of potholes in the road, some of which are deep, on the sharp bend at the junction of Cottesmore Road with Exton Road. This is causing traffic to swerve to avoid the potholes - highly dangerous on this notorious bend. The high grip surface on this bend has also been worn away in large sections.
