Diverted bridleway for quarry floods, 23rd January
A few years ago the quarry operators mounded spoil along the edge of the diverted bridleway. Consequently the path does not drain in paces and can be several feet deep in wet periods. Also, where the diversion rejoins the PROW north of the quarry, more recent mounding has impeded drainage, making the path extremely muddy and difficult to use

The pot hole seems to be getting deeper and positioned directly where your vehicle wheel may travel naturally on the road, meaning you have to avert direction of vehicle to miss. Motorcycles should be very mindful.
