Verge overgrown, 7th April
This area is shown on RCC grass cutting maps as being maintained by RCC. It was not cut last year and is now being overtaken by brambles and self seeded saplings. It is looking very untidy and reducing light to near by property. If it is not maintained the saplings will turn into full grown trees making the issue worse.

A few years ago the quarry operators mounded spoil along the edge of the diverted bridleway. Consequently the path does not drain in paces and can be several feet deep in wet periods. Also, where the diversion rejoins the PROW north of the quarry, more recent mounding has impeded drainage, making the path extremely muddy and difficult to use
