Flooding, 9th April
Please find attached two of three videos ( I will send the 3rd later) with regards to storm water escaping from a roadside ditch onto our property ( 5 properties making up the paddocks close Le15 7re) . This has been an ongoing problem for some time now but now it’s potentially a bigger problem due to water entering into the borehole soak away of our newly commissioned sewage treatment plant ( commissioned into service at the beginning of February. As you will see on the video watiis coming directly from the road with nothing being contained in the ditch. Could you arrange a site visit or I could come to your office to discuss this further?

Flytipping of seat cover and pop bags witnessed on cctv, 26th February
A car stopped this morning on the verge outside of my property and dumped a car seat cover, covered in sick, and a full poo bag, on the side of the road. Car was a black Ford Fiesta registration EX59 USS. We have cctv footage of those responsible.

Large number of potholes impeding access to property, 22nd February
Haulage lorries and farm vehicles are creating large potholes in the road which is impeding access and entry to our property. This is a problem which has been increasing over the last 5 years due to the increased number and size of vehicles accessing the farm buildings. The depth of the potholes is now risking serious damage to domestic vehicles.

Medium Pot hole, 16th February
100 yards after exiting Thistleton on the north bound carriageway there is a pot hole on the left hand side which is growing. To avoid the pot hole you need to move into the opposite carriage way.

Public footpath number 12., 8th February
Thick thorns overhanging from quarry side onto public footpath. Some a very long and not pleasant if you walk into them. Also fence posts require replacing as there are rotted. Both responsibility of quarry operator?

Sat 5 March 2022 I reported this damaged sign. Wed 9 March 2022 RCC posting. We have assessed your report and the repair of this defect has been added to our programme of works.
Surely two years is too long to wait. This shows closing a report before work carried out is wrong.
