This problem has been getting worse for many months. There are many potholes on the roundabout and on the approach from Burley road and Ashwell road North side We have taken phots but cannot workout how to attach them. A simple' Attach' as in emails would make the process easier.

When roadsigns for roadworks blow over, they seem to become invisible. Often they look new. I've found more recently . It's just one sign, and you know the roadworks are finished.

An Selection Of Potholes, 11th February
Roughly 3 yard stretch of the Stamford bound carriageway of the A606 breaking up as a series of potholes just after the entrance to Alsthorpe Road. It’s another regular spot for damage that could do with digging out and repairing properly rather than a quick patch.

Deep mud and vegetation, 11th February
Following the recent bad weather, this pathway is not completely unusable and given its proximity to the road, there is a danger to life as pedestrians and those with pushchairs move into the road for continued access

I came across some pieces of plastic/metal while litter picking. I could not carry them. I decided to leave two bags of rubbish already collected so the I didn't have to stop my car on a fast road.

Tree rear and to the side of 10 Horn Close overhanging property, 24th January
George Walker tree surgeon cutting overhanging and dead branches from Plane tree on the 23rd January 2024, removed these from side of tree facing the bypass, but did not remove similar from the side facing our property. Please could this be rectified as the overhanging branches are getting close to our house, many thanks.

Stile and fence difficult to negotiate for many users, 30th December
A stile on the Hereward Way footpath near Dog kennel Cottage (E203) - Grid ref: SK 872090 - is difficult to negotiate, particularly for those with mobility issues. There is just one step and then it's a matter of climbing over the fence. The adjacent gate is locked. There may be implications for this section of footpath, and its 'furniture', in the light of 'Wild Rutland' proposals.

Playground overgrown with moss, 16th December
Playground on Normanton Drive is very overgrown with thick layer of moss on the rubber crumb. It’s very slippery and dirty. No a safe surface for children to play on. Ideally it needs jet washing off. It’s been getting progressively worse over the years but it’s really bad now.

Street lights obscured by foliage, 13th December
Street lighting columns 2727& 2728 are either end of the wooden bridge over the stream that runs along the side of Ladywell & Horn Close. RCC have closed the original problem reports, as they say the lights refer to an unadopted road, the lights are on a FOOTPATH / CYCLEWAY not an unadopted road, may I respectively suggest a site visit to fully ascertain the problem. I previously raised a report about the tree leaves on the bridge deck causing a potential problem, which was speedily resolved by the council, no mention was made regarding an unadopted road! The lights are blocked by the foliage, causing the footpath / cycleway over the bridge to be in darkness, not ideal at this time of the year, especially as it is a well used footpath / cycleway.
