Trash all along the road, 3rd March
The whole road from Ulleskelf to Tadcaster has been used as a litter bin. Cycling along it, there's a can of a bottle pretty much every metre of the journey. Please send someone to pick it up

Service hatch in the road has dropped and traffic is making a noise, 15th December
The manhole on Main Street near the junction of West Milford Lane on the Southbound Traffic side of the road (headint towards Sherburn) has dropped and created an uneaven surface for the drain lid. Approx 25,000 weekly vehciles (source village Traffic count 2020) now clip this drain which is particularly noisey in the night.

The footbridge has been damaged by flood water and is currently uncrossable. The metal bridge structure is still in place but the wooden slats have been washed about 6 ft downstream.

Seems to be plasterers buckets or similar. A lot of other rubbish strewn along the verges here too.

Speeding through the village of Towton., 23rd June
There is a 30mph speed limit through the village of Towton. I've lived here for four years and have rarely seen a car travelling under 40mph, the problem seems to be getting worse. I don't think many of them slow down from the 60 limit on either side of the village now.
Ideally I would like to see some speed cameras (even temporary ones in the police van you always see on the A64!) or at the very least the signs that are supposed to flash up with '30' at either end of the village fixed. I feel mobile cameras would be most beneficial as once an area is known to have them people tend to be a lot more careful.
I hope some steps can be taken to improve the problem.

Road junction markings, 25th September
From cotchers lane (saxton) to the B1217. These road markings are very confusing for motorists joining the B1217. I have had several near misses whilst turning right into cotchers lane. Cars etc are using the opposite side of the road to turn right onto the B1217. It is an accident waiting to happen.
