Unsafe Road works?, 13th December
The road next to a primary school is shown as closed but access is possible by mounting the pavement to avoid the excavations in the centre of the road. Appreciate people need access for homes but loads of other vehicles are using the road in excess of 20mph and mounting the pavement. My concern is that there are two schools in the vicinity and kids could easily be harmed. Surely safer option could be found or some protection for the pavement could be arranged. Not helped with darkness during pickups etc.

Broken Manhole, 22nd July
Manhole cover broken. You can see from the photo the mounting frame has come away completely and the surround is damaged. Unknown length of time broken, but came to my attention when the lid was sticking up

Debris in road., 29th June
Good morning, On the Wetherby Services roundabout at Junction 46 of A1(M), there is a lot of debris in the road from what appears to have been a road traffic collision. Slap bang in the middle of the road, it could cause punctures etc. Please could somebody be dispatched to sweep the debris off the road. Thank you in advance.

Road surface and binder course failure approx 6ft long and 1ft wide 150mm + deep made me loose control, 18th May
Last night (18.05.2021) I hit this pothole and lost control of the vehicle, thankfully I managed to correct the loss of control but it severely shook me up and caused pains in my neck. I drove along today to see what I hit and it is a significant crater longitudinal and wide. the road surface and binder course where it has fairly recently been replaced has failed along its edges parallel and perpendicular to the road between lane 1 and 2. thankfully I was able to correct the loss of control but had to pull off at the services as i was severely shaken and in pain. Please can this section of road be reviewed at the earliest opportunity prior to their being a significant accident or incident.

Series of potholes and failed asphalt joints all around junction 46 roundabout, 23rd April
These potholes have been slowly getting worse over the past 12 months and the road surface is deteriorating further. It's getting difficult to avoid the potholes because there are so many. The worst areas are on the circulatory at the entry from the MSA and the circulatory past the B1224(W) entry arm and past the A1 NB on-slip

I have witnessed a cyclist falling off into one of these potholes. They're wrecking my wheels. The moon has less craters than this road. Sort it out now!!

Multiple potholes on roundabout, 31st March
The entire surface of the roundabout at the A1M Jct 46 is covered with potholes and broken road surface. I have been a frequent traveller between the midlands and the NE for work for the last 4 years and this is amongst the worst I have encountered - especially considering the volume of traffic using the Wetherby Services
