FIXMYSTREET IN LS17 9AN
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of LS17 9AN:
Thick mud on road, 25th October
Top of Moss Syke leads to farmland. Two weeks potato harvesting left couple of inches dry mud first week, not much hazard. Second week has seen wet weather now 2-3 inches of thick wet mud is a dangerous hazard for the 20 vehicles using our close. The hazard continues onto Syke Lane and beyond to A58 getting progressively less but still hazardous and slippy when wet. Crucially all these hazard problems can be prevented as there is better access to the same land off the A58 and previously farmers used it because of the same hazard issues which now prevail in Moss Syke and beyond. There have been no warning signs nor any liaison with residents about cleaning the road.
